The Fat Poem

I am probably going to alienate you but I wrote a poem about seeing people again after a long time.

It's about weight gain.

Here it is:



Fat.

Sometimes when you haven’t seen someone

They get really fat.

And it is hard to know if it is really them

Because it has been so long

Or because they are really fat

I wonder if I have gotten really fat

And people don’t recognize me

Or they don’t remember me

In the first place
